BIO

Oliver Dudok van Heel is our Head of Client Sustainability and Environment.


He has 20 years’ experience as a corporate sustainability advisor, helping multinational enterprises manage the risks and capture growth opportunities arising from the sustainability agenda.


He is a Fellow of the University of Cambridge’s Programme for Sustainability Leadership, and teaches on the University’s Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business. He is also a fellow of the Centre for the Understanding of Sustainable Prosperity where he focuses on reframing the ‘negative narrative’ that shapes our understanding of the world we live in and influences our belief that sustainable prosperity is possible.


He is a recognised expert on sustainable economic models (lead author of 'An Economy That Works' report for the Aldersgate Group), sustainable community development and launched a local currency to promote local trade in Lewes, Sussex. Most recently he led the ‘New York Circular City Initiative’ a multi-stakeholder collaboration convened by Freshfields seeking to help New York City make the transition to the circular economy.


Oliver speaks English, French, Dutch, German, Spanish, Portuguese, holds a Masters of Law and an Insead MBA.
