John is a partner at Borden Ladner Gervais' Toronto office. He has an energy and technology law practice encompassing corporate, commercial and regulatory issues. He provides counsel on corporate, commercial and regulatory aspects of the electricity and natural gas industries and power project development for a variety of technologies, including:

- hydro-electric
- biomass/biogas

- natural gas
- cogeneration (combined heat and power)
